The Drop in Sewing Centre and sewing classes for children and adults

Have you ever had a hem that needed fixing, or curtains that should be altered or maybe another small sewing task that you know you can do yourself but either you dont have the equipment or the confidence to undertake? Sew &Go is a great new concept in getting you going on your project with as little or as much help as you need using top of the range and easy to use sewing equipment. Based in the

Victory Business Centre (next to Asda in Fratton) in a bright and airy sewing studio, for just £5 per hour you can use the sewing machines, the large cuttring out table or relax on the confy sofa for a bit of hand sewing. The drop in times are on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday from 9.30am - 5pm, with booked sessions on Saturday afternoons and all day Sunday. If you haven't learnt to sew and would like to have a go, a member of staff will help you get started and be there to help you if you get stuck. The more experienced can visit purely for the company of like minded people and to be inspired with varied sewing projects. Sew & Go also run adult and childrens beginner sewings groups several evenings a week and the very popular Sew What childrens sewing classes on Saturday mornings.
