When we think of Dubai we think of modern skyscrapers and beachfront hotels. However our clients wanted to experience the ‘old Dubai’ after having visited a range of five star hotels on an annual basis.
Sat along the creek’s south bank is the neighbourhood of Al Seef and at the heart of it sits the Al Seef Heritage Hotel by Curio Collecton. During the last few weeks, we have seen the unprecedented spread of the Coronavirus throughout the world.
Countries around the world are placing restrictions on travel and entry on an almost hourly basis and we are constantly keeping up-to date with travel advice from various government bodies including the FCO.
We have been liaising with tour operators, airlines and hotels to ensure that holidays can be rebooked or cancelled with minimal disruption.
We have records of all bookings made with us and have been working around the clock, contacting customers in date order.
Our primary concern is the safety and wellbeing of clients in resort and those travelling within the next 72 hours.

We understand that many high street and online agencies have stopped responding to clients or closed shop, however we will be unable to comment on bookings that have not been made with us due to data protection.

We at Cloud Nine Travel are aware of reported outbreaks of Coronavirus in selected destinations worldwide.
The FCO is currently advising against travel to China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Iran & 10 small towns in Italy.
All holidays and honeymoons booked with us to destinations not mentioned above are currently going ahead as planned and normal fees for amendments and cancellations apply.
However should the FCO advise against travel to the country / countries you are travelling to prior or during your travel then we will contact you directly to discuss your options of an amendment or a refund.

Although the Christmas holidays may seem like a distant memory, our clients have got cherished memories from their xmas break at the JA Manafaru Maldives. We are excited to launch our new look for Cloud Nine Travel. Since our humble beginnings in 2008 selling flights only we have grown over the years focussing primarily on making luxury travel affordable for all.
So, we have replaced the aeroplane and number 9 with a logo that showcases exactly what we do - luxury travel!
We wanted to keep the blue (albeit a bit darker) as it relates to our business ethos of trust, honesty and dependability. After all, we believe you can’t have clouds without a hint of blue.

Cloud Nine Travel
After spending their honeymoon in Mauritius our clients wanted to unwind in a different setting where they could feel secluded away from the world. Cradled within the dunes of the Arabian Desert, The Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa was the ideal retreat. The resort is designed like an old Arabian fort and blends effortlessly into its surroundings. Adorned with local pottery, outdoor relaxation areas and fire pits, the resort really comes alive as evening falls and the lanterns light up. Chefs move to their outdoor kitchens in the evenings cooking fragrant dishes as guests relax before dinner.
The rooms are opulent in design and our clients can head to the outdoor living room with only the stars as their ceiling. There are plenty of activities on offer too with archery, falconry, horse-riding and safaris on the dunes.

Occupying the Maldivian Island of Falhumaafushi, The Residence Maldives will be home to our latest honeymooners. Staying in a Deluxe Overwater Villa with Pool, they will enjoy their airy villa with heightened ceilings, bespoke furnishings and an oversized living area. Their day can be started with yoga at sunrise and afternoons can be spent lazing on the sun-kissed beach, snorkelling in the crystal clear waters or island hopping.
Dining is definitely a treat at The Residence with floating breakfasts offered by their butler in their private pool or lunch at The Dining Room where they can enjoy the beachfront setting. As the sun sets they can head to The Falhumaa restaurant where they can enjoy sumptuous cuisine over the water as they unwind to the sounds of the waves.
The first and only spa by Clarins in the Maldives is located on the island and overlooks the lagoon and the rainbow coloured reef. It’s the perfect spot to relax and indulge in a range of treatments. There’s plenty more to keep our clients occupied during their stay with a range of water-sports, cookery classes, bicycle rental and excursions too.
Overall our clients will have felt the peace and tranquility of being castaway on a deserted island from which it will be hard to return home.
Our clients requested a multi centre honeymoon where they could mix a city break with a beach destination in the USA. Deciding on Los Angeles and Hawaii, they started their USA adventure at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard. The hotel is the perfect base to explore the main sights of LA such as Hollywood, Universal Studios and Rodeo Drive.
Heading onto Hawaii, we handpicked The Westin Maui Resort & Spa for their beach stay. The hotel’s breathtaking location on Ka’anapali beach makes it the perfect place to make romantic memories. Greeted with the traditional ‘Aloha’, our clients were whisked to their Ocean View Room complete with Westin’s signature ‘Heavenly beds’ and a private balcony where they can enjoy the dramatic sunset.
Set in a world class tropical paradise, the resort itself has exotic wildlife and cascading waterfalls within the 12 acre grounds. There are 5 pools to choose from and our clients can visit nearby attractions on the free shuttle bus. Alternatively they can head to Whaler’s village where they can discover upscale dining, shops and entertainment venues.

We’re kick starting our posts with a cute little boy’s first holiday to Abu Dhabi with his parents. Ensuring it was a special experience they chose to stay at the Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island. Sitting on prime beachfront, the resort is one of the first Ultra All Inclusive resorts in Abu Dhabi. Designed to reflect an Ottoman Palace, the striking turquoise and royal blue tones create a luxurious vibe as soon as they arrive. The opulent decor has Turkish influences throughout and with its own waterpark and wave pool onsite, the little prince may not want to leave this palace.
For dining there are a choice of ten restaurants with cuisine to suit everyone and drinks are included too. Whilst the little one enjoys the Rixy Kids club, mum can head to the spa for a spot of relaxation, complete with a steam room, whirlpool bath and hammam. There’s daily entertainment to keep the whole family entertained and with easy access to Abu Dhabi’s attractions a fun filled day can be spent enjoying Ferrari World or visiting Warner Bros World.
Arriving into the Maldives and taking their 30 minute seaplane from the airport is a memory our honeymooners will never forget; as they fly over necklaces of islands until they reach their island paradise.
Memories at the Anantara Kihavah will continue as soon as they arrive. The resort is one of the few places in the world to have an underwater restaurant and the range of cuisine on offer will definitely tantalise their tastebuds. The views at this resort are picture perfect at every turn and their days can be spent snorkelling in the crystal clear waters or even swimming with the Manta Rays.
The views at night will be unforgettable too when they visit ‘SKY’, the only overwater observatory in the Maldives with a unique cocktail bar and the resident sky guru will fascinate them with his stories as they sip on a mocktail or two.
As all the villas have private pools they can swim in the comfort of their overwater pool villa. Alternatively they can head to one of the longest pools in the Maldives with ‘sunshine butlers’ offering juices, cold towels, fruit skewers and mini massages too. There’s plenty to do during the day from scuba diving along the house reef to watching a movie in the outdoor cinema. The overwater spa is a must visit with a personalised wellness experience offered by the resident Ayurvedic specialist.
The Anantara Kihavah is definitely a jewel in the Indian Ocean and as there are only 79 beach and overwater pool villas you are never crowded out of the activities or dining opportunities. Once our honeymooners step foot on the island they may not want to leave.
Set on the South West coast of Mauritius, The St Regis Mauritius was home to us for 7 nights. Upon arrival we were made to feel like esteemed guests in a luxury private residence. Introduced to our very own butler from the outset, he would help pack & unpack, press our clothes & bring us our favourite hot beverage in the morning. He would greet us each morning at breakfast and confirm our plans for the day.
The hotel’s private beach is long and manicured with plenty of sunbeds to choose from and butler service offered too at the push of a button. As we lazed in the Mauritian sun, we were frequently offered pineapple sorbets, fresh fruit & cold bottles of mineral water to help keep us cool. The butler would often come by to clean our sunglasses and offer little home made snacks throughout the day.
Walks on the beach were a must with the Le Morne Brabant mountain as the most dramatic backdrop. However we recommend taking beach shoes as it is a coral beach.
Staying on a half board basis we would have daily buffet breakfast where the staff would know your preferences of how you’d like your eggs and your morning tea or coffee. Dinner was always a la carte with 5 restaurants to choose from and the waiters were very attentive knowing us by name and recommending items from the menu. The food here is exquisite with fine dining offered as standard.
The service at The St Regis is exceptional and although you arrive as a guest, you definitely leave as family.

With acres of space to swing in their tropical paradise our latest honeymooners will enjoy the pristine powder white beaches of the Constance Ephélia in the Seychelles. The hotel is a beautiful haven surrounded by lush greenery offering privacy and seclusion to our clients as they enjoy the breathtaking views.

We’re kick starting our posts with a cute little boy’s first holiday to Abu Dhabi with his parents. Ensuring it was a special experience they chose to stay at the Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island. Sitting on prime beachfront, the resort is one of the first Ultra All Inclusive resorts in Abu Dhabi. Designed to reflect an Ottoman Palace, the striking turquoise and royal blue tones create a luxurious vibe as soon as they arrive. The opulent decor has Turkish influences throughout and with its own waterpark and wave pool onsite, the little prince may not want to leave this palace. For dining there are a choice of ten restaurants with cuisine to suit everyone and drinks are included too. Whilst the little one enjoys the Rixy Kids club, mum can head to the spa for a spot of relaxation, complete with a steam room, jacuzzi and hammam. Checking into one of Dubai’s five star fashion hotels, our clients felt like they’d walked into an Italian Palace as they entered the Palazzo Versace Hotel in Dubai. We started our sightseeing in Istanbul by visiting the Hagia Sophia. It was commissioned by Emperor Justinian & was finished in 537 AD. For almost a thousand years the Hagia Sophia was the cathedral of Constantinople. After the Turkish conquest it became a mosque for nearly 500 years. However in 1935 Ataturk converted it into a museum. Earthquakes have repeatedly damaged the building but the basic structure remains the same.
After a snowy day in Preston our clients will love their dose of sunshine over the Easter holidays. They're off to the Bera Beach Resort in Alanya where the food is Halal & All Inclusive. The resort offers 100% privacy for ladies in their indoor & outdoor pools as well as a separate spa centre including a sauna, steam room & Turkish bath. Kids will love this resort too with a bowling alley, table tennis, games room & a variety of shows to keep them entertained! ⛱🏝
It's the end of our stay at the Shangri La Qaryat al Beri & we have to say that they've been truly magnificent! We'll miss the abra rides to the souq, the little touches left in our room each evening, to the views of the sunset from our balcony around the Sheikh Zayed Mosque.
