Back in May, I had such a fun collaborating on a styled shoot with some seriously talented wedding suppliers. Vintage style has always had my heart - it's just so timeless! The vision that had for the shoot was spot on. The idea for the models was a sleek, 60s-inspired bob for and a gorgeous low twist bun for - both hairstyles beautifully complemented the veils and dresses.

Bridal Trial vs Wedding Day

The final look on your wedding day may be slightly different than the trial. This is because once you're at home, you can see how the style has held up. You may decide to add fresh flowers or adjust the height depending on how you feel.
A hair trial is crucial for both the bride and stylisto see how the chosen style will look. It's a chance to make sure everything from the dress to the veil and hair accessories is placed just right. For example, for my bride Alice, we decided to lower the height and add gypsophila on the day to make the plait stand out more.

To ensure you get the best results during your hair trial, I suggest booking 2 to 3 months before your wedding. However, for brides who are not local, booking a couple of days or a week before the wedding is also possible.

Balayage was traditionally a technique where the blonde was blended through the ends from your natural and highlights went straight from the roots. However now, as balayage clients want their blonde higher and higher, the difference between the two is sometimes minimal. All you need to do is explain to me how you want it to look by showing me some pictures of what you like and don’t like .
