Lovely day spent exploring Hastings Old Town, just a 30 min drive from Rye, including Fisherman’s Museum, Hastings Shipwreck Museum and the arcades followed by a great local fish and chip lunch (including a GF portion too!)

We loved inspecting the Primrose - a Rye barge boat built in 1890 to carry goods to and from the port of Rye until 1930 when she was abandoned in Rye Harbour.
