Here are the opening times and costs for the first part of the 2023 Season......
Unfortunately we haven't been able to secure lifeguard cover for the half-term week - so we will look forward to opening on Saturday 3rd June.
Please note that opening times are subject to change, depending on lifeguard availability, weather conditions etc.

Despite our costs rising considerably [it is now estimated to cost us twice as much, per day, to run the pool!] we are keeping our costs the same AND in introducing a saver offer for Members...... Please support YOUR pool to keep it going for future generations!

“We absolutely loved our stay at Sunny Ridge. It is a beautiful home with a stunning view - the view from the balcony in particular was incredible. We were very comfortable, the home was well furnished and the kitchen was wonderful - great appliances and well equipped. We loved taking long walks from the front door around the coast path, down to the beaches, across the estuary on the ferry. We also loved the day trips available such as Hope Cove, Bantham etc. loads to do. Would book again in a heartbeat, thank you for having us!”

⭐️ “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunny Ridge. The owners have thoughtfully furnished the property and provided lovely little extras for your arrival. The dog bowls, towels and blankets were a lovely touch and Ralph loved the wonderful garden! The beds were so comfy we're looking to invest in the same at home. We loved Sunny Ridge so much we will absolutely book again. Thank you!” ⭐️💕

Back from our holidays at Sunny Ridge. 🌞🏖🍷

One of the best things when we arrive is reading all the lovely comments in the guestbook. Thank you to everyone for taking the time to feedback and give tips for future guests. We love reading where our guests have been exploring in the area 😊

2023 bookings are really in full swing now. With a staggering 75% of the bookings being repeat guests we are so pleased that everyone wants to come back again and again 💙

Comments: We had a fantastic week at Sunny Ridge. We saw from the reviews that the route from the town up to the property was steep so we were prepared. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog, and the views from the balcony were amazing.

The Salcombe Regatta is back this Summer !

We have had to move our Sunny Ridge holiday weeks around unfortunately but Sunny Ridge is now available to be booked for this Summer’s Regatta week.

What’s your favourite tipple for the weekend ?

This we’re pleased to introduce Lady Alice. Named after a Salcombe Fruit Schooner which sank off the coast at Start Point, this is a modern take on a perfect style Martini.

Combining Salcombe Gin 'Start Point' with red grapefruit, wild gorse flower and Fino sherry this sophisticated serve was recently awarded a silver medal at the Spring Blind Tasting.

Start your weekend the right way and recreate this award-winning cocktail at home:
‘Lady Alice’
50ml (1.7 fl oz) Start Point
10ml (0.3 fl oz) Fino Sherry
10ml (0.3 fl oz) Rosé Vermouth
5ml (0.16 fl oz) Red grapefruit & gorse flower oleo-sacharrum*
’Seamist’ liquid garnish for ‘Start Point’

Stir all ingredients with ice in a mixing glass and strain into a chilled Nick & Nora glass. Finish with 2-3 sprays of ‘Seamist’ and garnish with a twist of red grapefruit peel

*To make the red grapefruit and gorse flower oleo-sacharrum: muddle the peel of 3 red grapefruits and 50g of gorse flowers. Add 300g of sugar combined with the juice of 1 ½ red grapefruits and stir. Leave in the fridge overnight. Strain before use.
