If you have ever wanted to board a boat from Folkestone Harbour then you will soon have the chance. The Waverley - one of the last sea-going paddle steamers - will be docking at Folkestone Harbour on 3rd October 2024, ready to take passengers on a trip around the coast to London.

New sofa for 4 Greenhills. We heard the criticism of the old sofa bed being uncomfortable so we hope this is much, much better. We think it is.

Near to 4 Greenhills is Samphire Hoe. Created from the spoils of the channel tunnel this new bit of land is now a nature reserve with a cafe and walks.

Saltwood Castle, Saltwood, is the home of the Clark family and is open to the public on occasional days during the summer. It’s about 15 minutes away from 4 Greenhills and makes for a nice visit. Its been nicely restored.
