After a successful day makrel fishing on the self drive boats from beer beach we have slobbed at Beer Head Bistro for some delicious wine and home cooked food! Not going to mention the views! 😍

Beer is BAKING!!!

Lovely, coastal walk (nearly) to Branscombe, cheeky G&T at Beerheadbistro, quick stop off at the park and a swift cider now back to cool off in the hot tub and drink rum.

NB: the hot tub is not normally at the house, we’ve brought it down with us for the week.

Look at these beauties we were gifted today by our neighbour! She’s moving to a smaller house and on clearing out she found these little treasures and couldn’t bare to throw them out so gave them to my children as a parting gift! Absolutely love them. Made by a Roy Goode, resident of Beer, many moons ago and now firmly staying put and keeping many more children entertained.

There’s one thing me and my husband both love

🔥 WOOD BURNING STOVE FIRES 🔥

We can’t have one in our home home so we opted for, not 1, but 2 in our holiday home! One in the living space and one in the open plan diner/kitchen.

We are absolute DESPERATE to see them and use them but for now we have to cope with updates from Rob our fireman.

🙏🏻 COVID please 0121 so we can have some sort of summer 2021!! 🙏🏻

Fairview getting a new lick of paint and going back to white after years of being cream!

New double glazed windows and porch went in this week as well.

Next job....new kitchen and dinning room!

A few new additions added over the summer including new “morning coffee” seating on the top lawn, a new al fresco table and chairs for the patio and solar powered lighting to illuminate the garden after 1 or 2 beers in the village!

Over the winter they’ll be a few major changes as well! Exciting times ahead.

Absolutly LOVE these! Amazing find at the little antiques shop opposite the Dolphin car park. £1 each!! BARGAIN! I’m going to cover them in clear resin and use them as coasters! Keep your eyes peeled for them in Fairvew!

YIPPEEEAAAAA!!!

Fairview will be open from the 4th of July!

We aren’t taking our first guests until July 21st whilst we freshen up the house and get all the correct resources we need for a safe stay for everyone.

We’ll also be enjoying some well deserved family time as well!! CAN’T WAIT!!
