25 bags of cuttings later and the wall ivy has been tamed and will hopefully stay under control til we can get back to trim
again. Beach time, play hard = work hard

🏖️having a holiday home is great but hard work too ! We never actually get “full
time” “time off” when we are here.

PHONE SCAMMERS: Someone trying to sca me right now for £900. Texting me Saying “Mum need money for new phone and can’t get in their internet banking so can’t order new phone.” I don’t have a child old enough to have a phone but I know someone who did fall for this so .:/:

UPDATE Action Fraud close at 8pm !!

But detective work of my own. The bank account details I have been given are for. Payday loan account with a company called CASH PLUS BANK
So may well be the person we sent me the details is the account holder and would take funds as soon as they would land in their account and then close
Immediately without trace.

I’ve done an online report worh action fraud but I will try call the bank in the morning when I can get hold of them. They don’t have an emergency number like most banks ….

So many guests, couples, families and of course dogs 🐾 this summer ( and at times too much dog hair in the aftermath) ….

but over the summer I’m thrilled and proud that our home had all bar one 5 ⭐️ ***rating on Airbnb. Our cleaner is fabulous and dedicated and I’m so grateful to her for all her hard work.

*** 4star rating was for value and Airbnb charge big fees now to guests and owners alike. Without fees we are good value.
