New Sewing Machine Arrives at 4bind
2023 started with the exciting arrival of our new Meccanotecnica Universe sewing machine. Having seen an increase demand in quality sewn books, we decided it was time to invest in state of the art machinery to provide our customers with the best product we could.
More Flexibility
With dual feeding capabilities, our new machine allows us to handle both digitally printed sheets and lithographically printed sections with ease with minimal set up time. We can even combine the two to provide amazing solutions for bespoke book production.
Increased Efficiency
The universe machine will feed flat sheets, fold, collate and sew on the fly eliminating the need for numerous processes at the front end, making each digital job streamlined and far quicker start to finish. Section work has also been vastly improved, with machine speeds of up to 10,000 cycles an hour opening up a world of new work to us.

This new sewing machine from Meccanotecnica joins our recently acquired Vareo Binder with VBA end sheet feeder from Muller Martini. These innovative machines working together to produce cost effective, first rate quality work have all of us at 4bind looking forward to a highly productive year.
