We are open daily for cruises, apart from Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Hogmanay. Winter wonderland cruises depart at 10:15am, 11:30am, 12:45pm and 2pm, sailing on The Lady of the Lake.

Wildfire warning

When you visit Hillcrest Holiday Cottage it’s definitely worth having a trip on Loch Katrine, especially on a beautiful day like today. This is the Lady of the Lake which travels regularly between Trossachs pier and Stronachlachar.

You can access us by bike, boat, or time your travel for the lunchtime road opening!

Dogs are most welcome at Hillcrest Holiday Cottage. One of our favourite walks is to follow the old railway line from Aberfoyle to Cobleland and to walk through the campsite. You get to a sign saying “dog walk” and take the path to the right beside the river Forth. A short while later you reach a clearing with a shingle beach at the river. It is safe there for your dogs to cool off with a swim (or paddle) in the water.
