☀️☀️☀️Top Tips ✈️✈️✈️
🧳 Within our team, we know a thing or two about packing suitcases! We wanted to share some of our favourite tips to help you prepare for your holiday:
1. Roll Your Clothes: Rolling your clothes instead of folding them creates more space and reduces creasing. Who wants to iron on holiday? Not us!
2. Use Packing Cubes: As seen in our Meet the Expert videos, packing cubes are a game changer. These lightweight cubes make unpacking quick and keep your items organised. Travelling with family? Use different colours for easy organisation!
3. Track Your Luggage: In case your luggage goes astray, we recommend using Apple Airtags or Smart Tags. These devices help you track your suitcase using their apps. (Please check airline policies regarding GPS devices in luggage.)
4. Add Dryer Sheets: Tumble dryer sheets in your suitcase keep everything smelling fresh. Once unpacked, add them to your laundry bag.
5. Collect Toiletries After Security: Save weight by collecting toiletries, nappies, or baby milk from Boots after security. Order online using their click-and-collect service up to 14 days before departure and at least 3 days before you fly. Perfect for hand luggage only!
6. Maximise Space: Fill shoes and sunhats with small items to maximise space and help maintain their shape during transit.
7. Plan Ahead: We love shoes too, but do we really need seven pairs? Coordinating outfits in advance helps decide what to take and what to leave behind.
8. Check Your Luggage Weight: Purchase low cost luggage scales to check your suitcase weight before the stress of airport scales and having to pay excess baggage fees
9. Shake It Up : Once your suitcase is packed, zip it up and give it a jiggle. You might be surprised how much hidden space appears after a little shake!
Do you have any tips to share? We'd love to hear them!
