Such a beautiful day here in Pembrokeshire, perfect for taking a few photos of the latest addition to the family.

Those of you that stayed with us over the years will remember our lovely Daisy who we sadly lost last year.

Poppy has missed her so much as well so we felt the time was right to give a home to another doggie. We failed to get a rescue because Poppy is not spayed (but appreciate the rescue centres have to meet criteria) so had to reconsider our options.

I apologise in advance for flooding the page with the inevitable puppy posts and hope you like seeing them.

Still can’t decide on a name!
She is a sassy little pup with such attitude! I am leaning towards Lulu but Alex and Amelia like Tofu or Bean (Beancurd). So, watch this space for more updates 😂

Beautiful Caldey Island, we are just a short drive to Tenby to jump on a boat to the island. The perfect setting to relax and unwind.

The weather here is great, the sun is shining and everywhere looks bright and vibrant.

We welcome the sight of swallows skimming as they swoop in the sky and the scent of blossom is in the air, enticing the insects to the sweet nectar.

This is nature’s time, the nettles, brambles, dandelions and the daisies spread into every available sliver of space, whether they are welcome or not.

We do our best to maintain a balance between wild and tamed so here they are most welcome.

A few photos of our wild flower patches and also one of Poppy - my assistant gardener, who empties the wheelbarrow as quickly as I fill it - more of a hindrance than a help, if the truth be known but she is great company and very entertaining 😂

Peter and I would like to say a huge ”Thank You” to all the guests who have stayed with us at Snowdrop Cottage.

We have decided to take a break this year so the cottage will be closed for 2023, it’s time for us to take a breath, rest, recover and recharge batteries. I’ll still keep you posted with what’s going on here and in the beautiful Pembrokeshire area though, so keep watching the page 😁

It has been so rewarding to host everyone who has been to stay over the past 16 years and to read all the lovely reviews. We are always humbled by the number of couples who choose to come and stay, who take the time to write such special appraisals and who acknowledge the hard work that has gone on behind the scenes.
