We have some big news to announce with you all!

We recently made the very difficult decision to sell Ocean Hideaway and our beloved house has found its new owners.

We want to thank you for your support and for following us on this journey. We hope to one day do it all over again, but for now we say goodbye to this part of our life.

I can’t believe it’s been one year since we launched our little bnb!
With no previous renovating experience, or experience in running a holiday rental, my brother Josh and I purchased our little beach side 1930s bungalow and spent a good 6 months of late nights after work and weekends renovating and turning an old rundown house into a gorgeous little boutique bnb.
With covid in play we had a lot of doubts if it was a good idea to push forward with it or not but it’s been an incredible first year with over a 65% occupancy rate - which is fantastic given the amount of lock downs we’ve had unfortunately hindering so many of our guests.
Thank you to all our guests and we hope to see you again soon!

It’s so hard not to feel cozy and relaxed when the sun starts to set and all the lowlights are switched on around the house 🌙 It almost feels like the house transforms in an instance ✨

In the rush of renovating and trying to get our house open for business, some things were taken off the list of priorities. Thankfully this time round we had the time to revisit some of our old ideas 😊 Like this cozy study nook - a perfect corner to curl up with a hot chocolate and a good book on rainy days like today 🌧

BATHROOM REVEAL 🛁

A few months ago we were faced with the difficult decision of renovating our lovely bathroom again due to some unfortunate circumstances. Despite our best efforts to revive the old bathroom, we sadly had to start from scratch.

With a blank canvas and the help of we were able to create an oasis within our house to ensure maximum comfort and relaxation for all our guests. Whilst we’ll always love the original bathroom, we feel our new one truly reflects how we want our guests to feel when they stay at Ocean Hideaway - calm and relaxed 😌
