This is how WFH used to be! Who remembers typewriters! 🤷‍♀️🤣! When I spotted this little beauty - the Re*****on Portable, I couldn't resist a bit of nostalgia and it looks perfect on the desk in the Coach House complete with a little typed welcome note! Little touches ! Guests love it!

Totally in love 🥰 with this ancient wooden drawer we got as part of our haul yesterday from another visit to Europe's largest antiques fair. Dating back to the 1700s it looks like its come from an old shipwreck! Looks absolutely perfect on the coffee table in the Coach House complete with some vintage books we picked up along the way! And just like that...Easter is a mere memory! We've had a lot of family fun though this weekend - getting the new branded jute welcome bags out and about- this time flying the flag in Chipping Campden with our fabulous daughter home from London for a few days ❤️. We've officially had the wettest winter in our area since records began and yesterday was no exception... but look at that glorious sunset last night! Wow! Utterly incredible. We get the most stunning sunrises and sunsets here at Mount Pleasant Barns but this one was mind blowing. It gave way to beautiful starry skies perfect for with a mug of something warming! Even saw the Starlink go over. What a sight what a night! Book in and see for yourself!

🌱The first buds of Spring are shooting up at Mount Pleasant Barns which got us to thinking about some of the beautiful snowdrop walks around us at the moment . One of our faves is Compton Verney Art Gallery and Park - literally a stone's throw from us. See glorious banks of snowdrops while taking a wonderful winter walk. An extra bonus right now is the incredible Spectacle of Light festival there - wait till after dark & see the flowers all lit up in the light show. Great street food offerings available too!
