After recently working on the Time Lapse project, a performance in which, Via the use of a high tech camera called an Ultra Grid, eight actors from the UK and eight from Las Vegas came together to create and perform as an ensemble, despite being on other sides of the Earth. Inspired by this, Joe plans on finding new ways to create performances that bend what we see as restrictions to the rehearsal and performance process. Kyle Is an aspiring writer, director and performer interested primarily in Comedy and post dramatic theatre seeking to disrupt the notions of linearity to deconstruct the form and structure in which theatre can be presented whilst maintaining the fundamental element that is entertainment. Taking inspiration from Samuel becket’s minimalist approach to literature alongside the tangled web of extroverted crisis and philosophies of Philip K. Dick combined with the farcical and absurdist nature of Fo and the likes of Comedy sketch book. The approach ends up in a piece of theatre delicately disguised as light entertainment in lieu of its anarchic nature as an assault on what we as humans should re-evaluate in ourselves as individuals and as a cognitive collective of intelligent beings. A keen practitioner of Improvisational theatre and street performance, often taking the quote “All the worlds a stage” as more of a Mantra. His practise is focused generally on two contrasting elements, the desire to make commentary and insight change or nonsense for the sheer enjoyment of it, resulting a performance more often seeking to separate the audience into those laughing and those contemplating. Also interested in solo performance, installation art and performance art alongside many other varying forms of artistic expression to further his personal exploration of a newly discovered world of art and its purpose within society, culture and its contextual anthropology
