THANK YOU STAMFORD BRIDGE

Thank you everyone for all the flowers, gifts and cards we have been given this week for our retirement. We were overwhelmed by your kindness and generosity and weren’t able to thank everyone personally. So many of you have called in this week to say goodbye to us and we’ve had a very emotional time. Thank you to everyone who turned up at the surprise send off at No 10 Bistro when we finished yesterday afternoon organised by Katie Brown and Rachel Saunders. As we said in our last post we are lucky to have known you all and will miss you very much.

GLENN & ANITA’S RETIREMENT

As many of you already know we have been in the process of selling our business in order to retire and we are pleased to be able to say that we now have a completion date. Our last day at Bridge Rolls will be Thursday of this week and the new owners, Zoe and Emma, will take over the following day although they will not be opening for business until Monday 30th January.

We would like to say a big thank you to all of our lovely customers who have helped to make our business the success it is. Some of you have been with us right from our early days and we appreciate your loyalty.

It’s almost 17 years since we bought Bridge Rolls and we have gone from not knowing a single person in Stamford Bridge to making many friends there.

A special mention must go to Katie Brown who has worked for us for the past six years and is an absolute superstar. We are sure that you will all be pleased to know that she is staying on to work for the new owners.

Goodbye Stamford Bridge, we’ll miss you.

We will be closed on Tuesdays during November. As many of you already know we are coming up to retirement and there are things we need to do to get ready for the new owners of the business taking over. Closing one day during the week will give us the time we need to do this. We have chosen Tuesday as it is our least busy day of the week and hopefully won’t inconvenience too many of our regular customers. We thank you for your understanding.
