WHY TRAVEL TO GEORGIA🇬🇪
It’s beautiful, it’s friendly, it’s delicious, it’s exhilarating and it should be right at the top of your travel list. Here are some of our favorite things about Georgia👇
🎡Tbilisi
The amazing capital city of Georgia. It’s got good food, beautiful views, and so many opportunities for exploration. You can get a cable car up to a century old fortress, or funicular up to a theme park, or you can spend time exploring back streets and hipster areas with graffitis all over the walls, or you can walk on narrow European-like streets of old town. You will not get bored that’s for sure!
🏔Mountains
You can hike, take 4x4s for an adventure, go over ridges, see the glaciers, or throw yourself of a mountain and paraglide over the stunning mountain ranges. The views are insane, and the rugged beauty of Georgia is unparalleled.
🍽Food
If you like cheese and bread then Georgia absolutely has you covered. It’s a good place to travel if you are vegetarian because a lot of dishes are based around bread, cheese and fresh salad. And for meat lovers there are barbecues, grills, stews, kebabs and many more.
🍷Wine
Did you know that the oldest wine making technique originated in Georgia? For over 8000 years, Georgians have used egg-shaped clay jars (called a Kvevri) placed in the ground to make wine. This method is classified by UNESCO as part of the world’s Intangible Cultural Heritage.
👨👩👧👦People
“A guest is a gift from God” goes the saying in Georgia. Foreign visitors are showered with hospitality, food and drinks. Friendliness of Georgian people is on another level entirely, they would eagerly make conversation, take a photo with you, offer you food or drink.
