to negotiate the best possible contract for our clients. We actively promote the market value of each of our clients through aggressive negotiation and the exploration of all contract options, in order to build the most complete contract package, while still maintaining each client's image and integrity. Career Counseling
In order to ease an athlete's transition to the professional level, Footies Sports offers career management and player counseling services. These sessions are invaluable in helping the client to focus on career goals and establish a career plan, which will in turn help to achieve those goals and maximize earning potential. Portfolio Development
An athlete's portfolio is the passport to maximizing opportunities. We work with our clients in developing their individual on-line portfolio. We then post each client's portfolio on the Footies Sports site and related Internet sites. This helps to improve the market value of our clients, and provide a convenient resource for prospective coaches and clubs. Promotion/Marketing/Endorsements
In addition to developing a portfolio, Footies Sports designs marketing plan for each client to maximize income potential during and after a playing career. In addition, Soccer Scouts promotional and marketing end creates effective sales strategies and materials to enhance the client's image. Through each player's Footies Sports contract, we aggressively pursue endorsements and other commercial opportunities for our clients on a local, regional and national basis. We take into account each client's primary market, public image, outside interests and available time in developing this strategy. Dispute Resolution
In the event that a team or league treats a client unfairly, or acts in such a way as to violate the terms of a player's contract, Footies Sports acts as a liaison between players and their teams or league management. Footies Sports will address administrative matters such as travel arrangements, fines or suspensions, medical problems, disputes over playing time and any other career matters. Post- Career & Education Planning
The reality of professional sports is that athletes have a limited career and must plan for their future after their playing career is over. We work with our clients to determine what their post-career goals are and develop a plan on how to best achieve them. For some players this may involve taking courses in the off-season towards a degree, while for others it is merely a matter of finding out what the requirements are for their chosen future career. Due to high salaries and the pressure to perform in today's professional sports world, teams and players may have different priorities when dealing with athlete injuries. We encourage all our clients to seek outside, independent medical advice before deciding when to resume post-injury play. To assist in this process we have built up a relationship with a number of sports medicine physicians and can arrange examinations for concerned athletes. Should the need arise, we have relationships with a global network of professionals who can provide our clients top-notch legal advice and representation anywhere in the world.
