Te za meaning Yam Festival is celebrated by the people of Asogli in Ho municipal located in the Volta region of Ghana. The celebration is centered on yam cultivation , that a hunter found tuber in the forest during hunting. September every year, Yam festival is celebrated.It has lots of insights and revelations history wise and about the people you need to unravel.

This year’s celebration is special as it marks 20th anniversary of Agbobgomefia Togbe Afede XIV on the throne. There are lots of activities ongoing at Ho. Your weekend can’t be bored. The carnival on the the 1 September was 🔥 even though it rained, the numbers were huge and full of fun.

Grand durbar is on 7 October, park, Ho
Togbe and all divisional chiefs of Asogli will be dressed in their regalia seated in state to crown the celebration. Keep following our page or DM us for all your enquiry .
