Ada Foah has long been known as the paradise town of Ghana's Greater Accra region, with plenty to explore and do. Ghanaian hospitality flows easily from village to village and on the streets, with everyone serving as a potential tour guide.

Ada is the only town that must be included on every Ghana map because it is located between the Volta Lake and the Atlantic Ocean, with the estuary (Azizanya) being a popular tourist destination.

Visit mangrove forests, crocodile islands, and migratory bird habitats.
Sail around the Volta Lake's 1000 island communities.

Cape Coast Castle (Swedish: Carolusborg) is one of about forty "slave castles", or large commercial forts, built on the Gold Coast of West Africa (now Ghana) by European traders. It was originally a Portuguese "feitoria" or trading post, established in 1555, which they named Cabo Corso. However, in 1653 the Swedish Africa Company constructed a timber fort there. It originally was a centre for the trade in timber and gold. It was later used in the trans-Atlantic slave trade. Other Ghanaian slave castles include Elmina Castle and Fort Christiansborg. They were used to hold enslaved Africans before they were loaded onto ships and sold in the Americas, especially the Caribbean. This "gate of no return" was the last stop before crossing the Atlantic Ocean. Cape Coast Castle, along with other forts and castles in Ghana, are included on the UNESCO World Heritage List because of their testimony to the Atlantic gold and slave trades.

The famous stilted village of Nzulezo is located 90 kilometers west of Takoradi in Ghana's western region, about two hours' drive from the beautiful beaches of Busua. It is an interesting village in the center of Lake Tadane where community life takes place.

The entire village is built on stilts, and life has adapted to the lake's watery conditions. According to legend, the village was founded in the eighteenth century as a safe haven for locals fleeing slave raiders.

This watery village is surprisingly self-sufficient, with its own chief, shops, schools, churches, and movie theater, among other amenities. The houses are constructed on silts made from coconut trees and other hardwoods. Studatour Ltd

The centuries-old umbrella rock can be found in the Yilo Krobo District, about 22 kilometers from Koforidua, the capital of the Eastern Region.

Since the mysterious rock is only about seven kilometers from Boti Falls, tourists who visit Boti Falls usually take advantage of the opportunity to pass by and experience nature's mystery.

According to Yilo Krobo natives, the rock was discovered by a hunter who had gone hunting in the forest decades ago.

He returned to town, informed his people, and led them to the strange-looking rock. Since then, the Umbrella Rock has grown to become one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Eastern Region. Studatour Ltd

Keta Lagoon is located in the far south-east of the country, near the international border with Togo. The lagoon is a large body of brackish water located to the east of the Volta River estuary. The lagoon's open water, as well as the surrounding floodplains and mangrove swamps, make up the site. Although it is classified as an open lagoon, it is effectively closed for the majority of the year. The area of open water varies depending on the season, but it is estimated to be around 30,000 ha, stretching for about 40 kilometers along the coast and separated from the sea by a narrow ridge.
