Depart from Athens for a One Day trip to the UNESCO – listed Archeological Site of Delphi. On the way, drive through the plain of Beotia and also pass through the city Theva (where King Oedipus was born), Levadia and Arachova where there will be a short stop on the way back.
Arrive at Delphi, one of the most important digs in Europe. Visit the Temple of Apollo, the Museum which contains such spectacular exhibits like the Naxian Sphinx, the famous bronze Charioteer, the Treasury of the Sifnians and so many more.

Our tour will start with a short stop at the Panathenaic Stadium where the first ever Olympic Games of modern times took place in 1896.
Continue by passing by the Prime Minister’s residence which is guarded by the Euzones (known for their distinctive uniform), the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the memorial of the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, and Constitution Square (Systagma).
Later visit the world-famous Acropolis, which is perched high on a rocky hill overlooking the city. There you will see the Propylea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and of course the Parthenon.

1ST DAY: Depart from Athens to Delphi via Thebes, Levadia and the mountain village Arachova, visit the Archaeological site of Delphi. Next stop will be Kalambaka. Dinner and overnight.
2nd DAY: Travel nearby for one of Greece’s most unique attractions, the UNESCO – listed Meteora with its clifftop monasteries and the breathtaking view. On your return pass through Trikala, Lamia and Thermopylae where you will have a short stop at the heroic Monument of the king of Sparta, Leonidas. Depart from Athens by the coastal road along the Saronic Gulf with a short stop at the Corinth Canal.
The second stop will be Mycenae, a UNESCO World Heritage site with its Lion’s Gate, the Cyclopean Walls and Royal Tombs.
Continue the drive through the fertile plain of Argolis for the next short stop Nafplio, a beautiful place which was the first capital of modern Greece. Leave for Epidauros to visit the ancient theater, one of the best preserved classical Greek buildings and still used during the summer months due to its astonishing acoustics.
