Last week we informed one of our clients that his open tickets - from the dark era of travel bans😡- had expired and we could finally process his refund 🥳.

Travelling from Greece to Italy before 31st January 2022?
Here's what you need to know! (it's a lot 🤯 ! If you have questions, we're here to help!)

REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRY IN ITALY
a) It is mandatory for all travellers to submit the Passenger Locator Form (dPLF) available at https://app.euplf.eu/ #/ before entering Italy and regardless of how long you plan to stay in the country or what your final destination is. Once the form has been sent, you will receive the dPLF in PDF and as a QR Code by email. This must be shown at boarding either in a print out or in digital form (eg smartphone).

b) Presentation of the Covid-19 green vaccination or recovery certificate (or equivalent certificate);

c) Presentation of a negative molecular COVID-19 test dated not older than 48 hours or a negative antigenic COVID-19 test dated not older than 24 hours before arrival in Italy.

Certificates may be written in Italian, English, French or Spanish and may be submitted in either written or digital form.

Children under 6 years of age are exempt from the pre-departure molecular or antigen swab test.

Exceptions:
With the obligation to complete and submit the electronic dPLF (digital Passenger Locator Form) and provided that there are no symptoms of COVID-19, the presentation of an EU digital COVID certificate or a green certificate and the performance of molecular or antigenic test before arrival in Italy, do not apply to:

i) whoever enters Italy for a period of less than 120 hours for proven reasons of work, health or urgency, with the obligation, at the end of the above period, to leave Italian territory immediately or, if this is not possible, to enter a period of monitoring or preventive self-restriction.

ii) whoever transits, by his own means, through the Italian territory for a period of up to 36 hours, with the obligation, at the end of the above period, to leave the Italian territory immediately or, if this is not possible, to enter a period of monitoring or preventive self-restriction.

Travelling from Greece to Italy by ferry?
This is what you need to know!

All passengers are required to provide the following :
- Fill in the Pre-Boarding Health Declaration questionnaire
(available at the port office)
- submit the EU Passenger Location form (dPLF) here https://app.euplf.eu/ #/

In Addition:
When planning on remaining in Italy, passengers over 2+ years old are required to:
- Provide a negative PCR test result conducted no more than 48h before arrival in Italy
- In case of non-presentation of the above mentioned test result, a 10 day quarantine is required.
- After the quarantine period, perform an additional PCR test or Covid-19 antigen test

When passing through Italy (transit) with private means of transport:
- No Covid-19 test or quarantine period is required as long as travelers do not remain in Italian territory for more than 36h. If it is not possible to leave Italian territory within 36h, travelers must enter a period of monitoring or preventative self-restriction.

When staying in Italy no longer than 120h for reasons of work, health or other urgent need:
- No Covid-19 test or quarantine period is required. If it is not possible to leave Italian territory within 120h, travelers must enter a period of monitoring or preventative self-restriction.

Travelling by ferry from Italy to Greece ?
These are the travel condition you need to be aware of!

a. Travelers are required to submit the Passenger Locator Form (PLF) at least 24h before arrival in Greece here: travel.gov.gr

b. All passengers 12+ years old need to provide one of the following certifications:
i. a negative PCR test result conducted no more than 72h before arrival in Greece
ii. a negative antigen (rapid) certificate no more than 48h before arrival in Greece
iiI. certificate of full vaccination issued at least 14 days prior to departure
iv. A certificate of a positive PCR molecular test result, confirming that the holder recovered from the SARS-CoV-2 virus infection, performed at least 2 months before arrival, 2-9 months before arrival.
v. A certificate of recovery from the SARS-CoV-2 virus infection issued by a public authority or a certified
laboratory 2-9 months before arrival.

c. fill in the Health Declaration Pre-Boarding Form (available at the port, but we can also send it to you)
