That’s a wrap - part 1 2024 is complete. It’s been a wonderful 8 weeks and now time to return to the UK.

We start Part 2 on sept 8th, we have two spaces available that week and a few on week 3 (Sept 22nd). It’s a beautiful month to come, lovely temperatures and a warmer sea!

Such a beautiful start to the mid summers day here in Nikiana. The first half of our season ends on Sunday and it’s been a great one. Wonderful to see so many returners and welcome lots of new guests to our solo retreats. We have a few spaces available in September so why not come and see the sunrise for yourself? ❤️

These beautiful mountains give us the most amazing back drop. I often feel like we are looking at a painting that continually changes colour. Or that maybe we are living in The Trueman show (great film if you haven’t seen it) ❤️. We are fully booked next week but have 2 rooms the following (June 9th). Flights from London are currently starting at £148 return - why not come and join us?

We get to visit the lovely island of Meganissi every week. The ferry ride over is a wonderful trip in itself!

The island offers a charming, quiet sort of magic. You can walk up to Spartochori which is perched on the hillside. It has fabulous views, picturesque streets, places to eat and some gift shops.

Below the village you can dine at the waterside taverna then soak up the sun in the gorgeous bay. Yet another reason to come and visit ❤️

Just 8 minutes walk from the village and you will find yourself wandering past stunning olive groves and wild flowers. All whilst still enjoying the amazing views - a couple of the many reasons we love Nikiana ❤️

Kalimera from Jools!

Yesterday I went out on the M/S Christina. It’s been around 6 years since I last took the trip and I'm not sure how but it’s even better now. The excellent commentary on board from Jane, wonderful staff and excellent lunch all added to a fabulous day.

We were fortunate to see dolphins and seals ❤️ The crystal blue water at all 4 of the swim stops was breathtaking and not just because of the bracing temperature!

Such a relaxing way to see more of the Ionian Islands - we highly recommend it.

Every other Friday (online!) at 6.30pm, I'll be taking a look at the Tao Te Ching through the eyes of Wayne Dyer. This is the book we'll be using. Classes are drop in (there are 80+ standalone verses so it'll keep us going for three years or so!) and £5 per person.
Come whenever you have time. I expect they'll last about an hour and 15 mins, including 25 mins of meditation. Leave a message if you're interested 😁
