The Vlacherna Monastery and the nearby are popular. 😍 You can already see them during the landing approach, because Corfu Airport is directly behind them. ✈️ The monastery is connected to the Peninsula by a footbridge. 1. Peel, halve and core the cucumber. Grate or cut the cucumber into small pieces.
2. Mix yoghurt with pressed garlic, olive oil and vinegar. Flavor with a squeeze of lemon juice.
3. Stir in cucumbers and chopped dill. Season with salt and pepper.

The quiet and spacious Gardenos Beach is located at the village of Vitalades at the south-west end of Corfu and is only 15 minutes drive from our accommodation.

The water is warm and crystal clear. The entry into the sea flat. The Gardenos beach is away from the well-known tourist centers and offers a lot of space. The perfect spot for a quiet day at the beach!
