The residence is located on a quiet hillside, with scattered country houses, very close to the main road leading to Xi beach which you can easily reach in a few minutes on foot. Xi beach (awarded with the Blue Flag) is one of the rare red sandy beaches found in Greece with family friendly clear shallow waters. Along the coastline are cliffs made up of a grey argyl that not only creates a beautiful scenery combined with the red sand but is also the perfect ingredient for creating your homemade beauty masks!!!! Kefalonia is a large island and it is highly recommended to have a car for your transportation if you want to explore it. There is also a bus stop for Lixouri and a car rental very close as well as a taxi service. We are always available to help you with whatever you need during your stay.

The summer is over, but the good weather helps the last visitors of the island to admire its exceptional beauty and enjoy their swim in the warm and calm waters of the Ionian Sea even in mid October! After a successful tourist season during which travellers from several different countries were hosted in "Villa Emmanοuela", we want to thank you all. All of you dear guests were excellent, joyful and friendly and we came closer and hope we helped you live and explore the island. We thank you and wish you a good winter. We look forward to seeing you again in 2019!
All of the above photos were taken during the period of 9-12 October 2018 and the beaches that appear are Fteri, Dafnoudi, Kakogilos and Xi.

Only a 10 minute walk away from Villa Emmanouela is the beautiful Xi Beach with the red sand and the grey argyl which can be used for facial and body peeling and purifying masks. The shallow water gradually deepens making the Beach excelent for children. It is an organized beach, awarded with a blue flag. There are various shops, such as cafes, tavernas, bars and mini markets. Water sports are also available on the beach. Those who do not prefer the busy organized beach can walk a few meters away to enjoy it as they like. Xi beach, together with the adjoining beach of Megas Lakos, is almost 3 km long! You can easily stroll along the entire length of the beach, see the nests of the Caretta Caretta turtles and depending on the season if you are lucky you may see the little turtles hatch and run to the sea.

Nestled on a quiet hillside away from the noise but also very close to the beach life. You can enjoy nature, see the hawks fly over the house and listen to the birds sing. Sit in the garden, either at the front or at the back of the house where the outdoor sitting area and the whirlpool bath are located. Enjoy a relaxing whirlpool bath bath during the day under the shade of the banana trees or under candlelight in the evening. Make the most of the comfortable sitting area and the BBQ on the large veranda covered by the protective tent.

The residence is on two levels. On the upper level there are two double bedrooms, a living / bedroom with TV and a WC . The sofa in the living/bedroon terns into a double bed. On the lower level there is one double bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with TV and a sofa that seats three and a bathroom. All sleeping areas are air-conditioned, private and can be locked. In the kitchen there is a ceiling fan. The dining table is extentable and can seat up to 8 people.

An amazing beach a 30-minute drive from Villa Emmanuela for those with an adventurous spirit. You could access it by an impressive staircase made of wood and cement at the top of the cliff where there is a parking lot. After the earthquakes in 2014, the staircase was severely damaged and so access from land is quite risky. Safer access is from the sea by boat. The waters are deep and depending on the weather the waves are impressive but caution is advised when swimming.
