A wildfire erupted in southern Rethymno, Crete, near Amari, driven north by strong winds. 🚒 The fire threatens homes, burning fields and olive groves. 🌾 Agia Paraskevi residents were evacuated, with emergency services ensuring safety. ⚠️ Firefighters, including teams from Athens, are battling the blaze with significant resources. 🔥 Nearby villages have been alerted for potential evacuations. 🏘️ Today, 29 wildfires broke out in Greece, with 24 quickly contained.
