For this reason, every year on the last Friday of October, we join forces and wear pink at work, to remind every woman to take care of herself, by incorporating breast cancer screening into her life.
Early diagnosis of breast cancer, ideally before it can be felt or causes symptoms, leads to a better prognosis and more treatment options, with a five-year survival rate after the initial diagnosis reaching up to 97%.

This past weekend, we had an incredible time celebrating our amazing team with a special company event filled with team bonding activities, fun adventures, delicious dinners, and a fantastic party!
We infused this event with an air of mystery and surprise, ensuring that, aside from one member 😉 the entire team remained blissfully unaware and uninvolved in the planning!
We want to show our heartfelt appreciation for all the hard work and support our team is giving. Our people are our most valuable asset, and we wanted to thank them by organizing a surprise moment and creating unforgettable memories together.
It was a weekend full of laughter, camaraderie, and joy. We are grateful for each and every one of you!

In a recent interview with “Dimokratiki,” Tasos Chatziliamis, the general secretary of the Dodecanese Tourist Agencies Association, expressed satisfaction with the current tourist season in Rhodes, noting improved arrivals compared to last year. He highlighted a promising off-peak season and the importance of promoting alternative tourism forms. The extension of the tourist season into late November is seen as a key goal. Chatziliamis also emphasized the growing interest from markets like the U.S. and the need to improve infrastructure and marketing to enhance Rhodes’ strong tourism brand.

Here are a few glimpses of an interview with our CEO and Secretary-General of the Union of Travel Agencies of the Dodecanese region, Mr. Tasos Chatziliamis, regarding this summer season:
“I see, this season will be a good one. I would emphasize that we move at the same and even better pace as in 2023.”

“The German market has gradually seen a drop in early bookings over the past three years, but despite all that, the island of Rhodes is at better levels than other destinations.”

“France, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, and also Scandinavian countries, they are all doing really well, and the demand grows steadily. In Italy, there is a monopoly by one tour operator who has most of the market, and so any increase could be covered by individual customers.”

“Prices are clearly increased, but not to the point of making the destination unattractive. In general, our prices are affordable in relation to the product we sell, and we aim that the increase is only reasonable.”

“The Union of Travel Agencies of the Dodecanese made a proposal for a 7-day visa for Turkish citizens, which is a success for our islands as that will increase the influx of customers from the neighboring country.”

“What should be improved is the road network. The ports of entry - we need to work on making our islands more attractive, sustainable, and better in terms of infrastructure.”

Today our team together with the organization Για την Φύση / Common Nature, had a wonderful opportunity to contribute in planting new olive trees and help to regrow an olive grove at the beautiful Ypseni Monastery / Ιερά Μονή Παναγίας Υψενής.

The Monastery was heavily affected by last years’s fires and we are happy to see how its people are actively motivating others to rehabilitate the natural environment.

Thank you for this opportunity and we are grateful to be part of it.
