BALKAN ART RESIDENCY Short description The Balkan Art Residency is a residence for artists. Located in the mountain village KALLIRAHI to an island in the northern Aegean, with an altitude of 200 meters and 2 km. From the sea. The village is from the port 21 km. It has 600 permanent inhabitants (with markets, fishing, butchers, cafes, taverns). The artist who will be staying will have the opportunity to meet with residents, their lifestyle, their culture, their philosophy, their diet. In the basement is a bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed. Upstairs is the living room with fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, bathroom. Of course it has a small courtyard with pergola, vines, a Thassos olive tree and grill. The house provides electricity, water and heating for the winter months.
