Here at Blackwater Adventures, we practice ethical harvest!
This means we are intentional with what we keep and what we release back into the water.
For example:
If a fish is badly injured, the best thing to do (in our opinion) is to keep it.
If a fish is on the smaller side, we like to release it back as it might not have had the chance to reproduce.
We want to make sure weโre not depleting the fish population!

This tour runs EVERYDAY with no minimum group requirement!
For tours with 2 or more guests, the cost is $16,000 per person. The cost for children under 8 years old is $8,000.
For tours with only one guest, the cost is equal to 2 guests, $32,000.
It starts at 4:30 PM and ends about 6:00pm.
The departure point is Westzyde Marina, located at 15 La Grange, just 5 minutes from the Harbour Bridge.

The Blackwater Adventures team appreciates and values the concerns raised by persons and organisations that have expressed their dissatisfaction with the presence of a spectacled caiman at the International Energy Conference and Expo on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. We would like to take this opportunity to reassure you all that the caiman was unharmed and was subsequently released back into its natural habitat as you can see from the video posted below. Caiman spotting is one of the many experiences that is offered by Blackwater Adventures and we have always been keen on respecting and protecting not only caimans but all of Guyana's wildlife species and environments on our tours.
