Last month we organized a 2-Day TEAM BUILDING with a wonderful group from Split -
Visited Slunj Rastoke & Plitvice Lakes National Park! 🏞🏞🏞
Fantastic time in nature - even without snow - but with lots of WATER, which we love! 💦💦
Also, had a great time at the distillery Magdić rakije i likeri and the traditional mill Jarebovi mlinovi. 🥂🥂🥂

One week ago we as colleagues went to the Bijele i Samarske stijene, a truly unique area in the Gorski Kotar mountains with lots of bizarre, sharp rock formations!
It was worth every effort!!
😀⛰️⛰️⛰️😀

Even though there are lots of options for shorter and longer routes, and the accesses from the dirt road are relatively short, this hike is ONLY for able mountain hikers with safe footing, because there are lots of places where you have to climb up and down steep rocks (class 3 terrain)! You can easily spend 2 days here, and there are a couple of shelters to overnight in. We even found some sport climbing routes!

Tonight the rain fell exactly in the right place for perfect rafting conditions today! 🌊🌊🌊
36 people enjoyed big waves, adrenaline, beautiful nature, cold water - and some even went for a swim (voluntarily). 😅

I had the most marvellous nature-beauty moments today on my way back from our rafting trip! 🌈🌈🌈🌥🌦😃😃

The rainbow was right in front of me for 10 full minutes! And look how beautiful the sun plays with the mountains and forests of the Gorski Kotar!

Today we share with you our FAVORITE RESTAURANTS AND BEACH CAFÉS along the beautiful Mreznica River! 😀🥳☕🥂🍴

When you return from your MREZNICA KAYAKING ADVENTURE (https://kupa-sports.com/en/izlet/kayaking-mreznica/) and go towards Zagreb, Rijeka, Krk etc., there are some great places to enjoy an excellent dinner, have a coffee or some fast food, go swimming some more & marvel at Mreznica's beauty:

Zeleni K*t Restaurant and Rooms offers a fantastic location right next to a waterfall, with a swimming area and a terrace looking over the river. Great fresh fish and other dishes! 🥘🍻🏊

Restoran DP - Mreznicka kuca The excellent restaurant right next to the road has won a number of awards with the culinary specialties. After the main dish, take a walk down to the river and the "Mreznicka Kuca" beach bar & bistro for a swim, coffee - or a second dinner. 😁🍽🍷🏊‍♀️

Kamp Slapić, Duga Resa is a first class camping ground right on the bank of the Mreznica - there is a good restaurant on the premises. 🛶🍦🏊‍♀️

Otok Ljubavi, Mreznica The "Love Island" is located on a spacious island in the Mreznica river, with a wide net of channels, walk ways and waterfalls all across the forested river - it's an amazing place! The bistro offers fast food and drinks - and a tobogan into the river! 🍔🍟🏊‍♀️

Here's a great concept for healthy eating habits, that works IN PRACTICE!
80% healthy, balanced diet
20% eat what you want - without excess and without bad conscience! 😀👍

Na kraju priče o dijetama želim podijeliti s vama jedan životni koncept. Od kada sam ga otkrio u potpunosti mi se promijenio pogled na prehranu.

Radi se o dijeti 80:20.

Na prvi pogled, moglo bi se činiti da je to samo još jedna u nizu dijeta kojima smo svakodnevno bombardirani, no istina je mnogo dublja. Dijeta 80:20 nije samo prehrambeni režim - to je filozofija života.

Princip je jednostavan: 80% vremena hranimo se zdravo i nutritivno, dajući našem tijelu sve potrebne vitamine, minerale i druge hranjive tvari. No, ono što ovu filozofiju čini posebnom je preostalih 20% - vrijeme kada se dopušta da uživamo u omiljenim jelima bez ikakvog osjećaja krivnje.

Kroz ovaj pristup sam shvatio da prehrana ne mora biti borba. Ne mora se svoditi na rigorozno brojanje kalorija, niti na osjećaj krivnje svaki put kad se prepustimo nečemu što volimo. Kroz način prehrane 80:20 shvatio sam da je održiva na duge staze.

Preporučujem svima koji su u potrazi za zdravijim načinom života da razmisle o ovoj filozofiji. Možda ćete, baš kao ja, otkriti da je dijeta 80:20 savršen način za uspostavljanje zdrave veze s hranom, ali i za postizanje veće dobrobiti za vaše tijelo i um.

Ono što je najbolje je da sam shvatio da i ne prakticiram ovaj pristup svakodnevno. Nekada jedem 100% čisto. U trenucima kada si baš nešto poželim uzmem u manjim količinama i zadovoljim želju. Meni je bitno da nema zabrana koje moj mozak nikako ne voli.

Neka naša hrana bude naše lijek, a naš lijek naša hrana.

What a great week we had on our:
**6 Days - Green Heart of Croatia - MULTI-ACTIVE ADVENTURE** 😀😎😎

We picked up our Swiss guests at the Zagreb Airport last Sunday and showed them a little gem of nature nearby before checking in at the idyllic Hotel Amarilis on Dobra River.
Next day we explored the magnificent Plitvice Lakes National Park 🏞️, going for a swim in the Korana River on the way back, and gazing at the beauty of Slunj Rastoke as well.
Their favorite experience was to kayak down the waterfalls of pristine, emerald-green Mrežnica River. We took the long route, with extra beauty, wild nature and more waterfalls that hardly anyone ever gets to see.
However, the Croatian Gorski Kotar had more secrets and WOW-moments in store for us, which still only few visitors know about: Taking e-bikes down from Risnjak National Park, riding down fun tracks with little effort, we stopped to hike down to the amazing Izvor rijeke Kupe, the 168m-deep source of River Kupa. It's truly well worth the steep 30-45min hike down and up again. After enjoying a great lunch at HOTEL IN ŠPORTNI CENTER KOVAČ on the Slovenian side, we enjoyed some more fresh air while riding along River Kupa.
The final day was another refreshing kayak tour through the wild & beautiful Kupa Valley, with some nice rapids, a fun rope swing, fresh coffee during lunch break and perfect 23°C water for swimming.
Finally, on their request, we drove our guests up to Postojnska jama in Slovenia, where they continued their vacation without us.
