Scuba diving in Bali 🤿

I’ve only been in living in Bali for 5 months but I’ve already ticked off so many things from my bucket list. Diving being one of them! I chose a 3 day course for the open water diving qualification with a Padi Certified company and I had the best time ever! I am now open water qualified and can go diving wherever and whenever and I’m so excited to do so! So many beautiful things to see and to feel so at ease yet so out of your comfort zone is something exhilarating!
Shoutout to .divers for being my go to dive school in Bali!

Painshill Crystal Grotto 📍
Looking for something a little bit different but close to Kent? We ventured to the Painshill Park in Cobham to explore the Crystal grotto, man made lakes, Turkish tent, gothic tower and more! Was so pleasantly surprised at how lovely it was and would recommend! £10pp for entry with free parking. It also has a tea room and shop on site and has events too. We stumbled across the WOW wellness festival and tried our hand st CBD infused mocha frappes, stuffed our faces with the most delicious vegan curry’s and wandered around the stalls full of crystals and natural oils as well as reiki, yoga, reflexology and more!

📍Open Fire Camping - Brecon Beacons
Had the best time staying with friends in the Brecon Beacons in Wales at the Open Fire Camp site.
Had the most beautiful views and very central as well as being in the middle of no where. £30 per head for the 2 nights with fire pits, toilets and showers as well as electric ports where needed! The owners were super friendly and helpful too!
Visited the show caves which are a 5 minute drive away and walked to the caving club caves as well as the Henrhyd waterfall in Pen-y-Cae and it was beautiful!
Two pubs close by within walking distance too with local ciders, gins and great food too!
Would highly recommend and cannot wait to go camping out there again! ⛺️

Paragliding I’m Turkey 🇹🇷
After years and years of visiting Turkey and wanting to jump off of the 2000m mountain I finally did it! What an incredible experience!

We flew with and I couldn’t recommend them more! Loved every second of it … well apart form the drive up that was kind of scary! Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Oludeniz as it will be something you remember forever. Could even see Rhodes peering through the haze 😁

Teeling Whiskey Distillery 🇮🇪

Whiskey Reborn 🔥

Teeling Whiskey Distillery is one I have never visited before and to say the least I was pleasantly surprised! The site itself is fantastic with some amazing artwork covering the walls and you can tell the true and firey passion that is felt for this golden liquid. The tour took you around the working distillery where you were able to see and smell each process in how it is made and then follow up towards the family barrel vault which is history in its own right! The tour includes the history of Teelings and the family and also includes a tasting. They offer different tastings from a their small batch whiskey and a cocktail to a full select tasting with 5 tastings. Ranging from €17-€30.

Their name is everywhere and their merchandise is high class and good on price too. I definitely made a dent in my purse with a merchandise T-shirt, glass, key ring and some of their mini taster bottles too!

I would recommend this tour highly as it is different and interactive as well as a great whiskey too. They have the Phoenix cafe inside so you are able to grab a bite to eat aswell as their in-house bar where you can sip away on a few more of their cocktails!

Jameson’s Distillery Dublin 🇮🇪🥃

Another great tour around the Jameson’s Distillery and of course a bit of whiskey tasting too! Within this tour you learn about the history of Jameson’s whiskey and how it is made as well as getting to taste their signature whiskey and compare it to other popular brands. Always have a great time here and is great value for money as well as having a great bar, great staff and lots of cocktails to choose from too.
A fantastic experience for couples, solo travellers or for families. €22 for the tour and tasting.

The Little Dublin Museum 🇮🇪

This was a lovely little museum set in an old Georgian house where you have a guided tour through some of the house and hear all about some of the donated items and about the history of Dublin. The rest of the house is open for you to wander around to take pictures and learn more about Dublin’s famous people and it’s history. €10pp for the guided history tour with a very funny and friendly guide Mark!

Had a great trip to Ireland and managed to fit in so many different things from The little Dublin Museum, the National Gallery, Jameson’s and Teeling whiskey distilleries and Guinness storehouse as well as so much yummy food as of course the Ireland rugby game too!
