PADI Enriched Air Specialty Instructor
Every diver wishes that they could extend their bottom time. The PADI Enriched Air Diver Specialty doesn’t really extend a divers bottom time, it basically extents the maximum allowable decompression limits at a predetermined depth range.
As a PADI Scuba Diving Instructor; the #PADI Enriched Air Diver Specialty is one on the most popular specialty programs and one that you will be teaching time and time again.
If you are thinking of taking the PADI IDC in the Gili Islands with Platinum PADI Course Director Holly Macleod, it would be a great idea to consider also training as an PADI Enriched Air Diver Specialty Instructor.
Let’s just recap on what the PADI Enriched Air Diver Specialty is all about!

Candidates will than actually working within a team & conduct the Deep Adventure Dive. For the Deep Adventure Dive are required to plan and manage gas use (including determining turn pressure, ascent pressure and reserve pressure) and establish no stop and dive time limits.
The skills that need to be conducted during the dive are to descend (using a line wall or sloping bottom), Compare changes in colour at the surface and at depth, Compare a dive computer (or depth gauge) reading to another diver’s depth reading, Ascend at a rate not to exceed 18 metres/60 feet per minute using a dive computer (or depth gauge and timing device) and to make a safety stop at 5 metres/15 feet for at least three minutes
Here an Instructor candidate is practicing a portion of the dive & comparing their dive computer reading with that of a participant on the program.
