We gotta close this page down in the near future due to Failte Ireland's rights to the name Wild Atlantic Way.
We have no problem with that due to their enormous investment in the project and we will continue to work with Failte Ireland and Tourism Ireland as we all promote this project , the greatest undertaking by any tourism board in promoting the west of Ireland .

Bad news for knock airport and indeed the entire west of Ireland tourism sector .
Ryanair have decided that they won't be providing flights to and from Eindhoven and Cologne for 2015.
In 2014 we had several customers from Holland that were full of praise for the service from Eindhoven . A flight , little over 90 minutes long that brought them from the hustle of mainland Europe to the beautiful unspoilt west of Ireland .
Unfortunately , I believe Ryanair have no plans to replace these routes with any other European routes .
I wonder has this decision got anything to do with our governments decision to financially back Shannon airport while they leave Knock Airport to fend for themselves and continue to be self sufficient .
