Amazing to see Basking Sharks off the coast. The basking shark is the second-largest living shark and fish, after the whale shark. It is one of three plankton-eating shark species, along with the whale shark and megamouth shark. Typically, basking sharks reach 7.9 m in length.

Basking Shark swimming around one of RIBs. We generally see these sharks around May as they pass our shores. With our engines off we drifted for a while and soon the shark began to circle the RIB. Simply amazing experience and one that’s hard to get used to!
