"Life Behind The Venue" is a unique theatrical experience that occupies the entire building bringing the audience behind the scenes with the characters.

Life in the Venue was developed with actors George Hanover, Shane Falvey and Mary-Lou Mc Carthy under the direction of Eoin O hAnnrachain while in residency at the Theatre Development Centre, Triskel Christchurch, Cork in 2011. We acknowledge and greatly appreciate the kind support of Cork City Council Arts office during that initial development phase. Having completed both development weeks at t

he TDC, the project then transferred to the Everyman, Cork where we mounted a show entitled "Life In The Venue" in July 2012. The piece told the story of four ushers working in The Venue through an interactive, intimate performance set off the stage and in the auditorium with the audience. We are bringing our new show "Life Behind The Venue" to the Everyman in October 2013 to further explore these ideas, and to give a backstage experience like no other to our audiences!
