Good luck to the Mullan Hope Centre on this very worthwhile venture.

'Family', where life begins and love never ends. As many of you are aware, tragically in August 2020, I lost my family and my life as I knew it irrevocably changed from that night. Since then, the love I have received from the community has enabled me to carry on and try be the best I can to honour the memories of my John Tomás and Amelia. John was all about family and community, a loving husband and father and a big part of the community with his business Moville Garden Centre. Tomás and Amelia, like John were full of life, love and joy to all those who knew them and were very involved in many aspects of the community. To honour their legacy, The Mullan HOPE Centre (with HOPE standing for Hub Of Positive Energy) is a community based non profit organisation/company limited by guarantee, being set up in the very premises owned by John and where there are so many happy memories of John Tomás and Amelia....with the purpose to serve the community as a centre of well being, a hub for community groups/projects and events, a place for people to gather, to engage, participate, celebrate and learn, where nurturing and learning can prosper and where the 'Community Family ' can come together and help one another, because as I've learned, 'Together we are stronger....'

To mark the reopening, a farmer's market will be held this Sunday 4th July 10am-2pm, and a warm welcome is extended to everyone to come support local businesses, all in line with Covid regulations, and by so doing, will help enhance and promote a positive recovery post Covid-19....

As you leave the village of Burnfoot, we will take a small diversion off the 100 route but still staying on the Wild Atlantic Way, take the first left known locally as the Watery road and follow the road over the Causeway turning left or right at the end, on Inch you will find plenty to see from Inch Castle to a Wildlife sanctuary and the small Inch pier and beach, the views are impressive too with a number a spots to pull in and enjoy.

Heading up along the path takes you to the Upper fort (gates locked) and the upper guns, the steps are quite steep, there is also a more easy path to the top, but once at the top the views are quite stunning, looking down Lough Swilly towards Buncrana, Inch Island and Rathmullan. You also have the perfect view to look down on Dunree Beach (Port Ban) and out towards Fanad Lighthouse and the Atlantic Ocean.
