What an incredible day for a visit to

Once again I'm delighted to announce that I'll be hosting tours of the "Bayno" aka this Friday for . Tours at 5pm and 6pm, no booking neccessary.

The Bayno was opened by Edward Cecil Guinness, owner of the brewery, as the Iveagh Play Centre in 1915. It provided free recreation space for local children for over half a century before becoming a school & college (I also teach here)

Down on South Lotts Road for the unveiling of a plaque to mark the house that Irish Socialist revolutionary James Conolly lived in from 1910. Today also confirmed a long held suspicion that Mr.Connolly, my former physics teacher, was a relative owing to their name and strong resemblance.
