We’ve been a little quiet this week enjoying some holiday time before the seasons kicks back in 🧘🏻‍♀️🌈!

In the meantime we’re ramping up to celebrate International Women’s Day with our Women Of Ireland Tour!

When we wrote this tour back in 2018 there were not many tours or events that truly celebrated the achievements of women in Irish History. Now however, just a few years on and it’s fantastic to see so many tours, events and activities celebrating Women in Ireland 🇮🇪 👩🏾‍🎨👩🏻‍💻👩🏿‍🎓

Our Dublin Diaries: Unearthing the Legends of The Emerald City Blog this week features a prominent figure in Irish History and someone we love to talk about on our tours, the legendary, Mary Robinson.

We had a fantastic tour of 14 Henrietta Street this week it’s always an activity we recommend on our tours! 🙌🇮🇪

Step into the historic walls of 14 Henrietta Street and prepare to be awe-struck by its architectural grandeur. This remarkable building now stands as a testament to the human spirit that once resided within its walls.

The tour takes you on a journey through the fascinating history of a place that housed some of the poorest and most vulnerable members of society.

Our tour guide Declan skillfully narrated the tales of those who lived here, offering a deep and empathetic understanding of the struggles they faced. Walking through the cramped rooms, you can't help but be moved by the resilience of the people who once called this place home.

The architecture itself is a marvel. From the ornate craftsmanship to the grand staircases, 14 Henrietta Street leaves a lasting impression. It's almost surreal to see how a building of such grandeur evolved into a dwelling for those in desperate need.

The tour sheds light on the societal changes that led to this transformation, offering valuable insights into the city's history.

If you get the chance to visit you can book on their website directly for their daily walking tours! 🚶‍♀️🏘

thanks again for having us!
