Born in Dun Laoghaire and reared in the locality, both Skippers, Conor and Ed spent most of their childhoods and adult lives in or on the water in Dun Laoghaire Harbour and Dublin Bay. It is safe to say that the two lads have salt water running through their veins. Both are proud locals and over the years have developed considerable knowledge of Dublin Bay. cle Paddy did at Coliemore Harbour, Dalkey. They have both endured many painful jellyfish stings, so are well placed to explain the difference between a Lion’s Mane and Compass jellyfish. Ed just loves talking about his jellyfish stings, they are like his badge of honour. The dream for Goat Boat Tours has been a long journey and it took many turns along the way. Thankfully, and with the help of many people, we have developed a business that we are very proud of. Our dream has now become a reality. Goat Boat Tours offer a unique and exciting opportunity to explore the rich diversity and culture of Dublin Bay. 🌊✨ Meet the Gannet! ✨🌊

Did you know these stunning seabirds can dive from heights of 30 meters, hitting the water at speeds up to 100 km/h? 🐦💨

With their striking white plumage and black-tipped wings, they are one of our favourite sea birds!

Fun Facts:

They have air sacs that cushion their dives!
Gannets use their sharp vision to hunt fish in groups, often collaborating with Porpoises 🐬

We always appreciate their beauty and incredible adaptations! 💙
