Over the last few months, The Travel Corporation (TTC) has redoubled existing commitments to sustainable tourism across its dozens of brands with the launch of a new, five-year sustainability strategy.
How We Tread Right (HWTR) is centred on 11 goals designed to advance efforts to address areas such as climate change, over tourism and animal welfare.
Last week, to mark Earth Day, the company launched its five-step Climate Action Plan with a main goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2030. ITTN caught up with Shannon Guihan, Chief TreadRight and Sustainability Officer for TTC.

Brian Hynes, National Sales Manager delights agents around Ireland with his charm, limitless product knowledge and bad jokes. Never shy to speak in a crowd, Brian is always available via phone, email or in-person to support you with training (recently adding webinar training to his skillset!), brochure launches, and all things groups business.
Eilís Wall, Regional Director of Sales for The Red Carnation Hotel Collection has the pleasure of looking after all enquiries for leisure and corporate travel to our 17 hotels in London, South Africa, Geneva, Dorset, Florida and Ireland.
