As the 2024 hiking season draws to a close, we still have a few hikers out on different trails across Ireland.

Once of our hikers from Switzerland is just finishing up his 10-day hike along the Donegal Way. His pictures are proof that it is still possible to get good weather in October.

Great news for Americans in Tennessee and the surrounding states who have been thinking about visiting Ireland and experiencing its amazing outdoors scenery, culture and friendly welcomes.

4 direct flights a week from Nashville to Dublin next year is another reason to firm up those travel plans to visit the Emerald Isle.

Aer Lingus is to launch Ireland's first direct flight from Dublin to Nashville, Tennessee from next year.

Tailor-Made Tours arranged an absolutely perfect Dingle Way 10 day hiking itinerary for my husband and I. Sean was fantastic at designing a tour with options for shorter or longer hikes, suggested places to eat, visit, pubs with music and even a rest day.

We especially loved Mt Brandon but everyday had a special surprise for us. We saw so many beautiful beaches (we were lucky enough to see seals and dolphins!) and lively and lovely villages.
All of our B and B’s were very comfortable and the breakfasts, yummy. It was great having our luggage waiting for us at each day’s destination.

This trip was flawless. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Tailor-Made tours again!

⚠️⚠️The Cliffs of Moher Trail is OPEN for 1 kilometre both north and south of the Visitor Centre⚠️⚠️

Cliffs of Moher Walkway Closure: Safety Work to Begin Thursday 23th Aug

Starting this Thursday, the popular Cliffs walk from Hags Head to the Cliffs of Moher will be closed to the public due to essential safety work on the pathway. The closure is expected to last several months.

At this time, there is no information available about any alternative routes. So, walkers may need to walk along the nearby busy road, and they will likely have to pay an entrance fee to access the Cliffs and continue their walk towards Doolin.

We will provide further updates as more details become available.

Tailor-Made Tours has relocated to the Inishowen Peninsula in County Donegal for a couple of weeks to scout out new routes and experiences to offer our clients in 2025. Today we were off the coast of Malin Head (the most northerly point of Ireland) with True North Boating Check out the dolphins.

We are trialing some new video ad concepts, this is our favourite one so far.
