Wow what a busy month February was for Marie Lawlor our Director of Sales and the Site Ireland President.

Along with our client site inspections in Ireland, she had the incredible opportunity to attend and speak at the 12th AIPCO - Association of Irish Professional Conference Organisers Conference at the stunning Powerscourt Hotel, Autograph Collection
held over two wonderful days with insightful discussions, collaborative sessions with industry peers, and valuable networking opportunities.

Last week she finished the month at the SITE Global Conference in Istanbul. It was an amazing few days of insightful speakers, embracing the future with AI and connecting with friends old and new in Istanbul’s amazing venues.

Spent the evening The College Green Hotel Dublin, Autograph Collection for Tourism Northern Ireland showcase of Northern Ireland’s Giant Spirit.

It was lovely to meet and network with key members from the industry and enjoy a wonderful dinner menu full of Northern Ireland’s finest produce with amazing entertainment from leading Northern Irish musicians.

As we celebrate St Valentines’ Day, did you know the Claddagh ring is a traditional Irish ring that represents Love, Loyalty and Friendship.

Galway is the birthplace of the Claddagh ring which dates back to 1750 and it is styled with hands holding a heart that wears a crown, it’s history is steeped in folklore and romance.

The heart signifies Love, the crown Loyalty, and the hands represent Friendship, it can be worn by all and is well known around the world ❤️

St. Brigid’s Day - Lá Fhéile Bríde - celebrates Ireland’s only female patron saint on February 1 and most people will be familiar with the popular tradition of making crosses in St Brigid’s honour.

2024 marks 1500 years since her death and will be celebrated across Ireland with parades, festivals and ceremonies, but also to celebrate Spring.

In Dundalk (the birth place of Brigid) this year to celebrate they have a spectacular light show.
The Northern Lights – Brigid 1500 Series is taking place in Market Square with 18 shows over 6 nights and Roisin from our office was there last night to see the amazing show and share it with you.

Ciara, Jen, Joanne & Kim were out in Dublin today exploring the city for new experiences , event space and hotel visits.

Our 1st experience of the day was at Arran Street East for a fun pottery lesson with Lucy.

Our next experience was with Lorna from Fab Food Trails, we took a walking tour with a difference and plenty of stops for delicious food 😋
Sheridan's Cheese Shop , The PepperPot,
Griolladh & Saab Restaurant.

After the tour we visited
to see their event space followed by a visit to three city hotels Riu Plaza The Gresham Dublín , Academy Plaza Hotel & Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel

Day 5 and our final day in Paris. The group had a day at leisure to explore the city or revisit some sites from the previous days.

We took a walk to Galeries Lafayette Gourmet store to sample and take home some sweet souvenirs.

Dinner this evening at the hotel was amazing in the Salon Opéra ballroom - a fabulous end to an amazing trip!

Day 4 in Paris, some of the group enjoyed a tour of the Louvre Museum this morning followed by a wonderful evening at the famous Moulin Rouge.

Day 3 Paris to Versailles - today some of the group travelled approx 1hr to visit the stunning Palace of Versailles, a former royal residence commissioned by King Louis XIV.

We enjoyed a dine around dinner this evening throughout Paris for the group.

Day 2 in Paris, our incentive group enjoyed a panoramic city tour with a visit and entry to the Tour Eiffel.

Dinner this evening was onboard the River Seine Boat cruise with the most amazing views!

As we welcome 2024, we also welcome our first incentive trip of the year to Paris!

Day 1 : Montmartre Tour with group lunch at both La Cremaillere 1900 and La Bonne Franquette restaurants.

We enjoyed an evening dinner & cabaret show at Paradis Latin before the group returned to Intercontinental Paris Le Grand for a well earned rest.

We were delighted last week to be a part of the Meet in Ireland & Failte Ireland FAM.
We showcased Ireland on this German Fam Trip and wish to thank all our suppliers for their participation.

Day 1 : On arrival we visited Carton House, A Fairmont Managed Hotel for lunch and a showaround followed by a transfer to Galway. We enjoyed a relaxing evening and overnight The g Hotel & Spa

Day 2 : We embraced the Irish weather on our walking food tour of Galway City before we headed to enjoy the Cliffs of Moher Experience with Orangeworks finishing the day with an amazing evening Armada Spanish Point

Day 3 : We started the day at Armada Spanish Point, followed by a visit Trump International Doonbeg, before we picked up a musical hitchhiker enroute to Glasson Lakehouse for our overnight stay.

Day 4 : On our final day we enjoyed a visit to Kilbeggan Distillery before our farewell lunch at Kealys close to Dublin Airport ahead of our group departures.
