Oradeo is presently recruiting on behalf of one of their clients who are a large international contractor, an experienced Reinforced Concrete Foreman to work on a contract basis on various sites in Northern Europe covering the following responsibilities:

Duties & Responsibilities:

• The Concrete Supervisor ensures that the crew complies with site rules and regulations while monitoring their work quality and progress
• Undertakes method statement, risk assessments, toolbox talks and other safety controls
• Coordinates activities with other contractors/trades onsite
• Collaborate with clients, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project proceed as planned
• Responsible for the planning of material delivery and needs
• Maintaining site records
• Keeping track of variations and additional out of scope works

Necessary Requirements:
• Suitable candidate will come from a trades/engineering background and have 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Comprehensive knowledge of, and experience with all aspects of RC casting.
• Ability to plan daily/weekly work tasks
• Leadership and management of crew and subcontractors on site
• Commitment to finishing tasks on time, to budget and to the highest standard
• Good comprehension of construction plans
• Solid understanding of Health + Safety legislation
• Valid VCA Safety Cert

Duties & Responsibilities:

• You will have strong abilities to set up and working with arc machines and orbital welding equipment and will hold a recognized qualification.
• Excellent understanding of the installation of electro polished tube and fittings, and in the setting up of purge systems using gas.
• Industry experience of working in clean room environments installing high-purity pipework, and fabrication and dimensional checks of pipework.
• Strong professional experience of the required techniques and tools used during the process.
• Carry out quality checks as required on all pipework and fittings.
• Working as part of a large team of skilled and semi-skilled mechanical trades on a high intensity project with strict deadlines.

Requirements:

• Applicants will have a minimum of 5years’ experience in pipe welding including at least 2 years Orbital on large Pharmaceutical, Power Generation facilities and/or large scale industrial projects involving clean room-high purity pipework installation.
• Recognized orbital welder training and certifications.
• Safe Pass / CSCS
• Manual Handling.
• Own basic hand tools
