Our popular Crab Crawl swim series is back. Starting Wednesday evening the 6th of July. Registration from 6:30pm at the slipway. Swim starts at 7pm. Entry fee 15e. It's a Predict your time 1K swim with prizes for the three closest times plus the fastest.( Coffee vouchers from Revive in Dunfanaghy) Everyone swims entirely at their own risk, waivers must be signed and a tow float is compulsory. Some kayak cover is provided but we could Always use more. Boats or jet skis welcome as cover as well. Our main charity this year is the RNLI lifeboats and the Sheephaven Subaqua search and rescue unit. Last year's series raised over two thousand euro and we were able to buy and install a defibrillator in Rockhill (Johnson's) caravan park along the shore road a well as making donations to the Subaqua, lifeboats and the NW Hospice.

After much thought and consideration, we have made the very difficult decision to take a different direction with our business and Buttermilk Art Cafe and Gallery in Portnablagh will sadly not be reopening. Instead, we will be focussing on our Luxury Apartments in Portnablagh and our Online Gallery.

We would like to thank all our Family, Friends, Suppliers and, most of all, our Customers for their loyal and valued support over the years. Also, a very special thanks to all the great people who’ve been part of the Team. We will of course miss everyone but hopefully will continue to bump into many of you when you are out and about in Portnablagh and Dunfanaghy.

We are looking forward optimistically to the next chapter, hosting many more lovely Guests in the Apartments at Buttermilk and continuing to indulge our passion for art in our Online Gallery. Thanks again and take care

The Legendary Summer Crab Crawl Swim at Portnablagh, Wednesday 11th August, Is going to be a wee bit special. The Lough Gill virtual swim is taking place the following Saturday so this is our fundraiser for it. Swim will be a" Predict your time" as requested. Entry fee 10 euro or a donation. Small hampers for the closest three times, sponsored by myself. Registration from 6:15pm at the slipway. Swim starts 7pm. Usual 1.1K course weather conditions permitting. Waivers must be signed, Tow floats are compulsory and everyone swims at their own risk. Everyone welcome. Hot Dog BBQ afterwards if the weather allows

Registration from 6.15 pm at the slipway and swim starts at 7pm. Everyone swims entirely at their own risk ( Waivers required) and tow floats are compulsory. All money raised from the swims is going towards a Defibrillator for the Portnablagh harbor area, any additional funds will go to the RNLI, Sheephaven Search Recovery Unit and the NW Hospice. Everyone welcome, it's an informal swim for a bit of summer fun with a bit of a competitive edge. Extra support kayakers wanted if you know of anyone who is available.
