I usually love this time of year when we start to wind down after the season, unfortunately they forgot to wind the season up this year.
What done is done so no point crying to much about it, and I still love this time of year small groups, great sunsets, and the water is nice and warm.
We still have a month of summer left and if the weather gods play ball Sliabh Liag Boat Trips will continue to run from
Teelin Pier 7 days, 4 boats, 5 trips 48 seats or we can do private trips where you can have the boat to yourself

I have not posted much boat related stuff for a while

When we get a chance to sail I will put something on here
Please don't confuse a bit of sunshine with good boat trip weather the sea is still rough
I have people calling and texting telling me about the great day it is am I sailing, just because the sun is out, and it great to see it but sunshine won't make the sea calm

I am sick of this weather every day but I am heartened by the support from everyone who keeps booking in the hope we will get out.
We will get out some time, we will never catch up now but we will go ahead and that what it's all about.

It could be much worse, yes we lost some potential earnings but I never had much in the first place so I lost nothing.
I feel sorry for some of the new operators who are not long established with big expenses who are finding it difficult, but maybe it's a wake up call others who thought it was a walk in the park.

If there is one thing I learned in my 29 years doing Sliabh Liag Boat Trips is mother nature is the boss.

August has let us down badly
I don't know if we will get out in the coming week I will continue to take bookings and assess the conditions as the bookings come in I will try to give as much notice as possible if we have to cancel

We might do a few wave riding trips with some thrill seeker's but only if it's safe
