We offer high altitude trekking, mountaineering, and our signature tri-adventure expeditions in some of the most stunning locations in the world. We are the only company in the world that have an expedition leader and doctor on all expeditions while keeping group sizes sustainably small. Having an expedition leader and doctor allows us to deliver an unrivalled level of safety. Having smaller group

sizes brings a lot of advantages, including better leader to client ratios, reduced environmental impact and stronger team dynamics. As a travel company, we’ve always held our responsibility to the planet and our communities to such a high regard. We solidified our commitment as a business to being a force for good in January 2021 when we became a certified B Corporation! Our goal is to help people explore the world and experience life-changing adventures in the safest way possible. We are passionate about protecting the planet and improving the lives of those we meet along the way.

CARRY ME BACK PROGRAM ♻

Earth’s Edge are proud supporters of the Carry Me Back program!

This crowdsourced waste removal system organises for any willing clients travelling in Nepal to carry a bag containing 1kg of shredded waste from the trails to a pick-up point. From here, it is collected and transferred to a recycling facility.

This project is helping to move the 700kg+ of waste that is generated per day in the Khumbu region from the burn pits in which it is normally left.

You can read more about the program via the link below!

Darragh summited Kilimanjaro with us back in June this year - here's his take on the expedition!

"The trip was incredible. Nothing I could fault. The people made it. Every one of the guides and porters as well as the people in the group were just amazing.

Freddie and Walter were amazing guides and so much fun and knowledgeable.

Bobby the doctor was an unbelievable addition. He was super professional but felt like a member of the group firstly which made it really easy to approach him."

"This trip is a true cultural immersion, offering not only a glimpse of the beautiful city of Cusco, but also an opportunity to delve into traditional Peruvian cuisine, partake in the art of crafting Peruvian coffee, soak in natural hot springs, and marvel at two of the Inca’s most magnificent architectural creations. Not to mention getting to experience the beautiful wilderness of the Andean landscape!"

"We persevered relentlessly against the biting winds until the first light of dawn revealed the summit. Overwhelmed by the exhaustion and the challenging hours we had just endured, I couldn’t help but cry with joy. It was a truly surreal moment – I’ve seen countless pictures and videos of our clients and even some of my coworkers standing at the peak of Kilimanjaro, I’ve read their testimonials and heard their stories. But I was entirely unprepared for the myriad of the emotions I experienced – the pride, the overwhelming joy, the slight disbelief, and the fatigue – all hitting me at once, as I finally stood atop Africa’s tallest mountain."

Our Ari documented her entire journey to the summit of Kilimanjaro in 2024, and you can read her Kilimanjaro Diaries series here for more incredible insight: bit.ly/47JEjKA

Ari is off to Everest Base Camp this September! Here's what she had to say about her most anticipated part of the iconic experience:

"I can't wait for my Everest Base Camp trip this September! The idea of trekking through the stunning Himalayas, soaking in the Nepalese culture and getting up close to some of the most beautiful mountains in the world is so exciting!

I'm ready to push myself both physically and mentally, knowing the amazing views will be absolutely worth it. I'm also really looking forward to staying in the tea houses along the way, where we can chill, share stories, and enjoy the local hospitality. I can already picture sipping hot tea by the stove after a long day of hiking!

Exploring new places, making new friends, and creating lifelong memories – it’s going to be an incredible adventure!"

What's JB looking forward to most about her upcoming expedition to K2 Base Camp?

"The thought of spending two full weeks amongst the soaring Karakoram mountains. I remember when the first EE team headed out there in 2019; I fell in love with the landscape through the stunning photos they shared and I have wanted to experience it for myself since."

Keep an eye on our socials as we'll be posting all of her updates and photos during the trip!
