250 students in South Africa joined me and StandWithUs on a LIVE Zoom tour through Jerusalem today.
From 1948-1967, our walk would have been (at best) a stroll through a dangerous frontier filled with snipers. Touching the stones of the Western Wall like we did would have been impossible during the 19 year's of Jordanian control.
Reunited Jerusalem has plenty of complexities and challenges to unpack. But today we celebrated the simple beauty of a 2000 year old dream come true:.."To be a free people in the land of Zion and Jerusalem."

None of us had any idea what was in store when the Kirks walked into the StandWithUs office in 2015. Straight off the street, they pitched their idea for a youth trip trip to Israel filmed as a fly-on-the-wall documentary; an incredible dream that became a powerful reality. It's been an unexpected and treasured friendship, and it was thrilling to catch up and talk Israel and more on their podcast.

Got to jam this morning with these all-stars about Israel, Zionism, and the Jewish story! Dare I say it was a slam-dunk?

Today, former NBA players who are part of Athletes for Israel - Dale Ellis, Theo Ratliff, and Sedric Toney - visited the StandWithUs Education Center in Jerusalem and learned about our important work in Israel and abroad. We thank them for Standing With Us! 💪🏽🇮🇱
