Last week was the IMTM Tourism fair in Tel Aviv.
First time since the Abraham Agreements, so first time that tourism professionals from Bahrain, UAE (1971) and Morocco (1956) came as exhibitors.

One of the oldest mosques in the world uncovered in Tiberias at the Sea of Galilee

Following the Arab conquests of the region in the 7th century, Tiberias became the capital of Jund al-Urdun, the Jordanian military district, making it a political and economic center.

The Al-Juma (Friday) Mosque could only be found after removing the foundations of a 8th century mosque that was built on top of it.

Israel and the United Arab Emirates are set to sign a visa exemption treaty Tuesday, in what will be the Jewish state’s first such agreement with an Arab country, according to Israeli officials.

The treaty will be signed during high-level meetings and a ceremony in Tel Aviv attended by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and two senior UAE ministers — part of the first high-level delegation from the Gulf nation to visit Israel.

The expected 100,000-250,000 visitors a year from each side have to wait until January before they can start flying to each other.

Direct flights between Israel and the UAE, slated to begin in October, are to be postponed until January because of the coronavirus..

Congratulations, Pogacar of Team Emirates took over the Yellow Jersey today. Normally nothing changes on the last day, which is tomorrow, which means this 21 year old guy wins as the youngest guy since 1904.

Israel also has a team in the Tour de France and hosted the start of the Giro d'Italia, which started in Jerusalem in 2018.

When the sun sets on Friday, the Jewish New Year of 5781 starts.

In the last year, the population grew with 1.6% to 9.3 million people.

74% is Jewish (6.8 million) and 21% is Arab (2 million).

Life expectancy for women in Israel is 84.7 years and 81 years for men.
To compare, in the UAE it is 79.2 for women and 77.1 for men.

88.8% of Israelis are happy with their lives, breaking down to 92% of the Jews and 76% of the Arabs.

The Fire and Water Fountain on Dizengoff Square in the center of Tel Aviv.

Several times a day, the rings starts spinning in opposite directions, classical music starts and water and fire come out of this creation.

It used to be very colorful, but after restoration the painter is still waiting for autorisation of the artist, Yaacov Agam.

Dizengoff was part of the founding families of Tel Aviv in 1909 and became the first mayor of Tel Aviv.

between Israel, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, the facade of the
Municipality of Tel-Aviv Yafo building was illuminated this evening with the word "Peace" in Hebrew, Arabic and English (Peace, שלום, سَلَام)

On this historic day, during the signing of the Abraham Accords, 2 rockets were fired from the Hamas controlled Gaza strip.

“Gaza terrorist cowards are desperately launching rockets at Jews because they know this new era of peace will isolate their paymasters in Tehran,” he writes. “Iran-backed terrorists are not going to stop peace for 1 sec[ond] as the children of Abraham come together to forge the path of real peace.”

Wrote Netanyahu adviser Aaron Klein on Twitter

The Hamas terror group condemns the UAE and Bahrain for inking peace deals with Israel.

“The normalization agreements between Bahrain, the UAE, and the Zionist entity are not worth the paper they were written on,” a spokesperson says. “Our people insists on continuing its struggle until it secures the return of all its rights.”

The issue of praying on the Temple Mount/Haram al-Sharif is not mentioned in the peace agreement that will be signed today.

The current policy is "Muslims pray on the Temple Mount; non-Muslims visit the Temple Mount"

But..... The M***i of Jerusalem issued a fatwa banning Emiratis from visiting Al Aqsa.

How they will control this is unknown, there is no ID control by the Jordanians when visiting Haram al-Sharif.
Israeli security forces are responsible for you, when you visit Al Aqsa.
Other then security issues, it is the Jordanian King and the Waqf who are in control.

Since Israel took over control of the Temple Mount from Jordan in 1967, it was agreed that Jews will not be allowed to pray on the Temple Mount.
Jews are hoping that the normalization with the UAE and hopefully more Arab countries, will also normalise the praying situation on there.

Not al Jews, because the exact location of the Holy of Holies of the Jewish Temples is not known, many Jews do not walk on the Mount, which is also forbidden by Jewish law (halacha).

Note for which media you read: Muslims see all of the platform (14 hectares) on the Mount as Al Aqsa , for Israel (and the US) only the structures that are build on top of it are seen as Al Aqsa.

The Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence signed a cooperation deal with the Weizmann Institute of Science on AI research.

The agreement would allow for exchange programs, conferences and seminars, and a new joint institute for AI.
