Our humble advice to all Hajis would be

1.Travel light, u get everything u need in Medina and Mecca market. Believe me, if u travel with just a couple of kameez shalwar,passport and visa, u will get everything else u need from the nearby markets at extremely reasonable rates.

2. Control ur emotions, don’t utilise ur energy in site seeing and other non-obligatory rituals. Better preserve energy as much as u can because u r going to need loads of energy and health in 5days of HAjj.

3. Itz very hot over there and going to get hotter by the day. So Have lots of fluids, especially curd/lassi ( Laban). Give ur body adequate rest and fluids especially till 7th of “Dul-hijjah”. Don’t tire up ur body with Nawafil so much so that u May miss all important HAjj.

3.Travel in groups,to and fro from the Harm. There is a great chance of getting lost inside Haramaien as most of the doors are similar and area is vast.

4. Don’t confuse urself with the do’s and dont’s of various Molvi’s. There are renowned scholars of all sects who deliver lectures and discuss all the issues of HAjj, threadbare. “Mufti Mohammad Makki” is a world famous Hanafi scholar who delivers lectures and answers all issues regarding HAjj (in Urdu) from Magrib till Ishaaaa everyday on first floor of Haram near door number 89.
