It’s a small property but unlike other resorts in Goa which are commercial and crowded, even at season time; this one is private and exclusive. You are away from the din and chaos of the city. The property has just 4 rooms, it’s tranquil and calm. Villas De Madeira is located 3kms from the beach, shopping center, hospital and restaurants. We are always there to assist you – from trips and excursions, where to buy things, medical or anything that needs dealing with. Let us know and we’ll be happy to help. These are exclusive wooden cottages and each of the twin cottages has two self contained rooms-two on the first and two on the ground floor. The top rooms open into a private balcony each while the bottom rooms open to a sundeck which houses a six seater whirlpool bath with mood lighting and in built FM music

We have just four such rooms in totality. We may not offer you the grandeur of space like in a commercial resort, but the exclusivity we promise; is unparalled

9) Electronic Lockers for your Security. Carpeted rooms are available on the 1st Floor. We run our place like a homestay and so hotel type services do not apply. We do not have a restaurant. However, we do provide home made breakfast. which is simple yet satiating. Your bed linen and towels are changed every alternate day. We have a housekeeping staff to assist you from 9am to 5.30pm and security round the clock.

General information

The rooms are not inter-connected, like in a house but are more like individual hotel rooms, so in every room, you are assured of perfect privacy. When you book, you pay for a single self contained room, not the whole villa. This place is for real nature lovers who love foliage and who dont mind bumble bees, butterflies, insects and the occasional gecko calling out to you at dusk. There is lush greenery all around the villa and this is all part of the natural eco system . If you are an early riser, you will be woken up by the sounds of birds, singing in the wild outside your window. Our advertisements are our reviews. Take a look at our photographs too. Most of them are uploaded from a simple mobile phone . We don't believe in photoshop! We have security round- the- clock on the premises and a housekeeping staff will clean your room and change your bed linen. FACILITIES: The rooms are air-conditioned, have a 40" LED TV with HD cable, minibar, kettle for tea / coffee, king sized poster bed with 8" mattress, soft duvets, hot / cold water, minibar facilities, shower cubicles with high-end Kohler / Jaguar fittings, and electronic lockers. All rooms are beautifully colour co-ordinated. BREAKFAST: Kick start each day with home made “Breakfast of the Day”- a set menu with eggs, toast, butter/jam, tea / coffee/juice. Tea,coffee and milk sachets are available in your room and replenished once a day .Every room comes with an electric hot water kettle. For food through the day, menus are available and restaurants are right next door. We do offer simple vegetarian breakfast also.Let us know while booking, if you are pure vegetarian and don't eat eggs .Breakfast is served till 10.30 am only. Post 10.30 am guests will have to make their own arrangements for breakfast from nearby restaurants. NOTE 1 : We offer packages with and without breakfast to suit your budget. So, if you want a package without breakfast, that can be worked out too. Villas De Madeira offers you goodies like no other resort, during the tourist season- a fully stocked mini bar laden with chocolates, cold drinks, soda , small nibbles and House Wine is all yours on arrival. IT’S ALL COMPLIMENTARY! However, if we offer you a reduced/ discounted price, the free minibar goodies may not apply. So do clarify when you book! We are happy to assist you with excursions, restaurants, car/ bike hires, Airport Shuttle services, sightseeing, where to shop, buy supplies, medicines and anything you need. The owners live just 3 mins away in a separate house and are available for any assistance. The owners do not live on the home stay property so even though, this place is run like a home stay, guests have absolute and complete privacy with their families in individual self contained rooms. It's an apt place for honeymooners and small families. We do not generally encourage big groups of bachelors. We also accept family group bookings. 8- 10 people can be comfortably accomodated with a twin occupancy per room.We can provide 3 extra beds (one in each room) for an additional charge. We cannot emphasize this enough- ours is like a nature resort with thick vegetation on all sides. IF you are travelling with small children/infants , please take the necessary precautions. Secondly, we are a homestay- We do not have a restaurant and hotel type services do not apply, although we have security round -the -clock and a housekeeping staff to assist you from 9 am to 5.30 pm. Villas De Madeira is just 3 kms to Candolim beach- a 7 minute drive and about 10 mins drive to Calangute and Baga beach. You will find pubs, discotheques and fancy restaurants,within a 2 km radius from Villas De Madeira. e.g: SinQ, LPK and The Sol are all located within a 5 to 7 min drive. Taxi's and Rent - a - cars are available on a daily basis.In fact, if you tell us your expected time of arrival in advance and wish to have transport ready to move around as soon as you reach our place, we can have a car or a bike arranged for you .
